What You Will Do:

• Perform high-quality digital mammography and diagnostic imaging examinations, accurately positioning patients and adjusting equipment to meet examination requirements.
• Obtain relevant patient histories, explain procedures clearly, address concerns with empathy, and promote comfort, privacy, and confidence throughout each visit.
• Recognize breast tissue abnormalities, prepare complete image studies for provider interpretation, and maintain precise image labeling and procedure documentation.
• Apply radiation protection practices, infection prevention standards, and safety protocols to protect patients, coworkers, and yourself.
• Use the electronic medical record and Picture Archiving and Communication System to retrieve orders, document care, manage image workflows, and support efficient patient flow.
• Collaborate with radiologists, providers, and clinical teammates while helping maintain equipment, supplies, logs, and a professional imaging environment.

Required Qualifications:

• You hold a high school diploma or equivalent and have completed education or equivalent experience in radiologic technology.
• You maintain current ARRT certification and Mammographic Radiologic Technology certification, including required continuing education units.
• You have or will obtain Basic Life Support certification within six months of hire.
• You demonstrate strong knowledge of diagnostic radiology, medical imaging, anatomy and physiology, patient positioning, and radiation safety.
• You can communicate effectively, manage competing priorities, protect confidential information, and provide thoughtful care to patients across age groups.

Preferred Qualifications:

• An associate degree or higher in Radiologic Technology and previous mammography or breast imaging experience are valued.
• Experience with digital radiography, PACS, bone density or DEXA imaging, ultrasound coordination, and acute care workflows will help you thrive.

Compensation and Benefits:

Earn $81,120 to $108,160 annually, plus a $5,000 sign-on bonus. Your benefits package includes health, dental, vision, life, short-term disability, and long-term disability insurance; 403(b); Health Savings Account and medical flexible spending account options; paid time off, sick leave, holiday pay; and a blood work-up after one year of service.
