The group also has manufacturing facilities like production of steel product, chemical, bottling spirit, stationary, wax-candles, wax-coated matches, logistics/transport and has ambitious plans to grow. The group has around 3,500 employees of which 245 are expatriate employees.
Qualifications & Experience:
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Ceramic, Industrial Chemistry, or Mechanical Engineering.Experience:
Minimum 8 years of experience in sodium silicate manufacturing by the wet process. Minimum 5 years of experience in production of Sodium silicate. Good understanding of wet process production, quality control, and safety procedures. Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Preferred: Experience working with PLC/SCADA systems and continuous process plants.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise the production of liquid sodium silicate using caustic soda and silica. Monitor the production process to achieve the required quality and daily production target. Guide and supervise production operators during each shift. Ensure safe working practices and follow all safety rules. Work closely with the Quality Control and Maintenance teams. Maintain daily production records and shift reports.
