QA/QC Executive - Analytical & Microbiology

Flychem is looking for a Junior QA/QC, Analytical & Microbiology professional to support quality systems and laboratory operations covering raw materials, in-process materials and finished goods, including analytical testing, microbiology, method validation, stability, investigations and product release.

Key Responsibilities

• Support QA/QC for raw materials, packaging materials, intermediates, in-process samples and finished goods.
• Assist in establishing and maintaining specifications, SOPs, STPs, sampling plans and release criteria.
• Prepare and review COAs, batch records, analytical reports and release documentation.
• Perform testing by HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, FTIR, Karl Fischer, titration and other relevant techniques.
• Support development, optimization, transfer and validation of analytical methods.
• Assist in handling OOS, OOT, deviations, CAPA, change controls and non-conformances with root-cause investigation.
• Support stability studies, impurity profiling, retest periods and shelf-life data review.
• Carry out instrument calibration, preventive maintenance, qualification support and data-integrity controls.
• Maintain reference standards, reagents, columns and laboratory documentation.
• Coordinate with R&D and manufacturing during development, scale-up and technology transfer.
• Perform microbial limit testing, total aerobic microbial count, yeast & mold and specified pathogen testing.
• Support preservative efficacy / challenge testing, bioburden and microbiological method suitability/validation.
• Assist with water microbiology, hygiene/environmental monitoring and microbiological investigations where applicable.
• Support vendor qualification and review of incoming material quality performance.
• Assist during customer/regulatory audits, technical queries and quality agreements.
• Work under senior QA/QC guidance while following GMP / GLP / ISO-aligned systems.

Preferred Profile

• M.Sc Chemistry / Analytical Chemistry / Microbiology / M.Pharm / B.Pharm or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of QA/QC, analytical laboratory or microbiology experience.
• Hands-on experience with HPLC/GC and exposure to analytical method development and validation.
• Working knowledge of microbiological QC for cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, specialty chemicals or personal-care products.
• Good understanding of OOS, CAPA, deviations, change control, stability and audit documentation.
