Trentium Capital is hiring an experienced Loan Processor / Closer to join our business-purpose real estate lending team in Fort Lauderdale.This is a combined processing and closing role. You will own loans from the time they enter processing through closing and funding.Our borrowers are real estate investors, builders, and developers, and our transactions include ground-up construction, fix & flip, bridge, DSCR, and other business-purpose real estate loans.We are looking for someone who is organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership of a file rather than simply completing individual tasks.
What You’ll Do
Manage loan files from processing through closing and fundingCollect and review borrower, guarantor, entity, property, and transaction documentationTrack underwriting and closing conditionsCoordinate with borrowers, originators, underwriters, title companies, settlement agents, insurance providers, and other third partiesOrder and track appraisals, title, insurance, and other required itemsMaintain accurate file and pipeline information in Trentium’s LOSKeep borrowers and originators updated throughout the processIdentify missing items and potential closing delays earlyPrepare files for closingCoordinate final loan documents, closing figures, borrower funds, signatures, and funding requirementsResolve closing issues and help ensure transactions fund on scheduleTrack post-closing items when required

Experience handling both processing and closing responsibilities is strongly preferred.Strong candidates should be:Highly organizedProactiveDetail-orientedStrong at follow-upComfortable managing multiple active filesAble to prioritize deadlinesProfessional with borrowers and sales teamsComfortable coordinating title, insurance, underwriting conditions, closing documents, and fundingAble to identify problems before they jeopardize a closing
This is not a traditional processing-only role. We need someone who can own the transaction through successful funding.
