Position Overview for the Lead Desktop Support Specialist:Support the client’s desktop and customer support operations, managing high-volume incident tickets and hardware installations.Install, image, and configure computers, printers, and peripherals as well as migrate data and profiles.Document processes, procedures, and support incident resolution efforts.Collaborate with network, security, and application teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.Lead project efforts and provide technical guidance to other technicians and support staff.
Required Skills for the Lead Desktop Support Specialist:7+ years of experience with computer hardware, software, peripherals, components, networking protocols, and communications.Installing and imaging new computers and loading appropriate software for customers.Installing and configuring local and network printers and other peripherals.Migrating data and user profiles.Documenting processes and procedures related to technical field support activities.
