Litigation Attorney

My client, a well respected Townson based law firm, is looking for a Litigation Attorney

The ideal candidate will have 3–10 years of substantive litigation experience, with a strong background in general commercial litigation, construction litigation, insurance defense, and/or real estate. Key ResponsibilitiesRepresent clients in construction, insurance defense, real estate, and/or commercial disputes from initial investigation through trial and appeal.Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and legal memoranda.Conduct and defend depositions, manage written discovery, and handle court appearances.Provide strategic counsel to clients and participate in settlement negotiations and mediations.Work both independently and collaboratively with senior attorneys and partners.
QualificationsJ.D. from an accredited law school.Active membership in the Maryland Bar (DC or VA admission a plus).3–10 years of relevant litigation experience, including substantial courtroom and deposition experience.Strong analytical, writing, and advocacy skills.Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Experience representing contractors, subcontractors, design professionals, or sureties is strongly preferred.

Salary and Other CompensationThe annual salary for this position is between $120k-175k base. xzbcwsv Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
