Job Title: Working Supervisor
Salary: £50,000 per annum + £5,500 Car allowance
Location: Bristol & Cardiff
Job Type: Technical / Engineering
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Job Summary
We're looking for a skilled and motivated Working Supervisor to oversee a team of three mobile engineers across Bristol and Cardiff.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrical or mechanical engineer looking to take on a supervisory role while remaining hands-on within a multi-site, multi-client environment. The role will primarily involve commercial office spaces and university contracts, offering a varied and rewarding working environment.
Key Responsibilities
· Supervise and support a team of three mobile engineers.
· Oversee maintenance activities across multiple sites and client contracts.
· Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to the required standards.
· Support the delivery of maintenance services across commercial office spaces and university contracts.
· Provide technical guidance and assistance to engineers when required.
· Help coordinate workloads and ensure service delivery meets client expectations.
· Participate in an on-call rota of one week in five.
Requirements
· Previous supervisory or team leadership experience would be advantageous.
· Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
· Ability to manage responsibilities across multiple sites and client contracts.
· Based in or within commuting distance of Bristol or Cardiff.
· Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.
What's on Offer
· £50,000 annual salary.
· £5,500 car allowance.
· Monday to Friday working hours, 8:00am – 5:00pm.
· Travel time paid after the first 30 minutes each way.
· One-in-five on-call rota.
· £120 standby allowance.
· Minimum of four hours' pay when called out.
· If you work late, you'll receive the following day off.
