Experience

1–3 Years of Medical Coding experience

Certification-CPC,CCS

Candidates should have experience in any one of the following specialties:

Neuro

ENM + Cardio

Ortho

IVR

ENM + Surgery + Cardio

✅ Required Skills

Good knowledge of Medical Coding

Strong understanding of Medical Terminology, Anatomy & Physiology

Knowledge of CPT, ICD-9-CM, HCPCS & AMA Guidelines

Claims Management and/or Customer Service experience is an added advantage

Good verbal and written communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail

High productivity and accuracy

Job Responsibilities

Review patient medical records and assign accurate diagnosis and procedure codes.

Apply CPT, ICD-9-CM, HCPCS, and other coding guidelines.

Associate diagnosis codes with appropriate CPT codes for accurate reimbursement.

Verify chart count and maintain daily/monthly MIS reports.

Perform quality checks and monitor coding accuracy.

Track coding errors and maintain quality metrics.

Handle denial follow-up and appeals, when required.

Conduct specialty training for experienced coders.

Ensure compliance with client requirements and Information Security policies.
