  • UT Health Tyler is the flagship hospital of the system serving hundreds of thousands annually. Specializing in advanced acute care medicine, our midtown location boasts a Level 1 trauma center and comprehensive stroke center, the region’s only EMCO program and a Level III NICU. Our medical staff includes more than 500 physicians and a full complement of subspecialty groups.

Responsibilities

  • As program coordinator, the individual provides leadership, oversees patient care quality, ensures compliance with Level of Care standards, and manages daily operations.
  • Responsibilities also include maintaining data integrity, developing program plans, and ensuring readiness.
  • The role supports community outreach, represents the organization in regional meetings, and liaises with EMS.
  • The individual collaborates on education initiatives, supports evidence-based practice, and contributes to staff development and professional growth.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Associate’s degree in Nursing
  • RN Active Nursing license
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care
  • NRP
  • ACLS (Labor & Delivery only)

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • BSN
  • 5 years in Clinical Specialty
  • 2 years of Leadership
