We’re Hiring: Vice Principal

Northfield International School, Kompally, Hyderabad is looking for an experienced and dynamic Vice Principal to join our leadership team.

We are specifically seeking a strong academic leader with hands-on experience in the Cambridge International Curriculum, particularly at the IGCSE level .

• Lead and monitor the effective implementation of the Cambridge curriculum and IGCSE programme

• Support the Principal in overall academic leadership and day-to-day school operations

• Monitor teaching quality, lesson planning, assessments and student progress

• Guide teachers in Cambridge teaching methodologies, assessment practices and learner outcomes

• Mentor, support and evaluate teachers and academic coordinators

• Conduct classroom observations and provide constructive feedback

• Drive continuous improvement in teaching and learning practices

• Oversee curriculum planning, academic calendars and assessment schedules

• Monitor student performance and develop suitable academic intervention strategies

• Ensure academic standards, school policies and procedures are consistently followed

• Work closely with teachers, students and parents to address academic and behavioural concerns

• Coordinate examinations, assessments, academic reviews and interventions

• Lead staff training and professional development initiatives

• Contribute to school events, student programmes and overall school development

• Promote a positive, collaborative and accountable school culture

✅ Cambridge International Curriculum / IGCSE experience is essential

✅ Strong understanding of Cambridge IGCSE curriculum, assessment structures and teaching practices

✅ Proven experience in academic leadership within an International School

✅ Prior experience as a Vice Principal, Academic Head, Head of School, Cambridge Coordinator, Senior Coordinator or similar leadership role

✅ Strong ability to mentor teachers and improve classroom practices

✅ Experience in monitoring student achievement and driving academic improvement

✅ Excellent communication and parent-handling skills

✅ Strong people management, organisational and decision-making abilities

✅ Passion for high-quality teaching, learning and student development
