Position: PYP Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) across the school.
• Ensure effective implementation of PYP philosophy, framework, and approaches to teaching and learning.
• Support teachers in unit planning, inquiry-based learning, assessment, and documentation .
• Conduct regular classroom observations and provide constructive academic feedback.
• Plan and facilitate PYP-related professional development and teacher training .
• Coordinate curriculum planning and ensure alignment across grade levels.
• Support teachers in developing transdisciplinary learning experiences.
• Monitor student learning, assessment practices, and academic progress.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among teachers, leadership, students, and parents.
• Ensure school practices remain aligned with IB standards and practices .
• Coordinate with the IB for programme requirements, evaluations, and documentation.
• Promote a culture of inquiry, reflection, collaboration, and lifelong learning .

Desired Profile:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Education or a relevant subject.
• IB PYP experience is essential.
• PYP Coordinator / Leadership experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of inquiry-based and concept-driven learning.
• Excellent communication, mentoring, and leadership skills.
• Experience in teacher training and curriculum development preferred
