A leading national law firm is seeking an experienced Legal Practice Assistant to support two Shareholders and attorneys within its Emerging Data Privacy Trends Team. ResponsibilitiesPrepare, proofread, revise, and format legal documents, correspondence, memoranda, and court filingsPrepare and submit electronic filings in state and federal courtsManage attorney calendars, coordinate meetings, and maintain deadlines through the firm’s docketing systemProvide litigation support, including hearing preparation, exhibits, court reporters, transcripts, and discovery materialsArrange attorney travel and coordinate client meetings, conference rooms, and Microsoft Teams meetingsMaintain organized electronic and paper files and assist with closing filesProcess expense reimbursements and vendor invoicesCommunicate professionally with attorneys, clients, court personnel, and internal teams
Qualifications5–7+ years of legal support or executive secretarial experienceExperience with state and federal court filings and electronic filing proceduresStrong calendaring and docketing skillsAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and TeamsFamiliarity with document formatting, Styles, redlining, Adobe Pro, and PDF toolsTyping speed of at least 60 xzbcwsv WPMExcellent organizational, communication, proofreading, and multitasking skillsLitigation support and iManage experience preferredHigh school diploma or equivalent required
