Our Delivery Specialists are responsible for loading/unloading and delivering MiniBulk and Bulk chemicals as dispatched in the safest and most efficient manner.What You'll Do:Loading trucks with proper materials (and concentrations) to be delivered as dispatched, and ensuring all paperwork follows Company and DOT policies and regulations.Driving in a safe and responsible manner and following all DOT rules and regulations while making chemical deliveries.Filling out delivery report documents accurately and submitting them in a timely manner.Wearing all required safety gear and personal protective equipment, including a full-face respirator when required, during all handling of chemicals.Perform minor and routine maintenance on trailer, process equipment, customer tanks and vent traps.Safely delivering chemicals as dispatched to our customers promptly and in a courteous fashion.Coordinating loading times with the shipping department regarding the next day's deliveries to best serve our customers.What You'll Need:CDL A Tanker & Hazmat EndorsementsMinimum of (5) years of Class A equivalent driving experience on a full-time work basis in liquid transport.Minimum of 25 years oldHave previous experience hauling tankers of hazardous chemicals a must and hold current hazardous material and tanker endorsements as required by law.Have an excellent DMV reportDemonstrate the ability to work with corrosive chemicals.Agree to fully cooperate with the training program for chemical handling and safety.Must be able to meet all the requirements for respirator certification including any medical certifications and yearly re-certification with fit testing per OSHA standard 29 CFR 1910.134Knowledge and DOT regulationsKnowledge of OSHA regulationsFamiliar with hydraulic pumps, mechanical proficiency preferredAbility to learn proper methods for handling hazardous materials and wastes, with trainingPhysical ability to lift and carry at least 100 lb. net bags for short distancesAbility to read, write, count, understand, and speak EnglishTest negative on the company's drug testsWhere You'll Work: 522 E Emaus St, Middletown, PAPay & Benefits: The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location Available employee benefits include health, vision, dental coverage, along with industry-leading retirement and time off programs.What You Can Expect:Strong work/life flexibilityTo be surrounded by an inclusive team who is collaborative and committed to the achievement of the companyTo be rewarded for your contributions with a targeted annual company bonus (if applicable to your role) and annual salaryCompetitive pay and benefitsUnivar Solutions is a leading, global distributor of chemicals and ingredients essential to the safety, health, and wellbeing of our daily lives from life-saving medicines and vitamins to hand sanitizers and industrial materials used for cleaning, construction, and more.
