Job Description

Twara Robotics is an Indian industrial robot manufacturer and part of the ACE Micromatic Group. We design and build articulated robot arms and turnkey robotic welding systems, with both hardware and software developed in-house in Bengaluru.

Our focus is on making automation accessible to Indian manufacturers. Our welding robots are lightweight, work with the welding power sources customers already own, and can be set up by welders and shop-floor engineers without a dedicated robot programmer. Systems are deployed across heavy engineering and auto component plants, and are backed by service support through the ACE Micromatic network of 70+ offices nationwide.

Role Description The Service Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad area. The Service Engineer will perform installation, commissioning, and preventive maintenance of robotic arms and related systems at customer locations. Daily responsibilities include diagnosing technical issues, executing repairs, and providing hands-on technical support to ensure high system uptime and safety. The role involves field visits, responding to service requests, documenting service activities, and collaborating with engineering and product teams to relay feedback from customers. The Service Engineer will also train customer personnel on proper operation and basic maintenance, support demonstrations and trials, and contribute to continuous improvement of service processes and documentation.

Qualifications

  • Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related engineering fields.
  • Familiarity with industrial robots, sensors, and safety standards.
  • Experience with Industrial Robot welding application is benificial.
  • Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting skills for mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
  • Candidates should possess Technical Support capabilities, including remote assistance and issue escalation.
  • Ability to read technical drawings, manuals, and schematics, and to use diagnostic tools and basic test equipment.
  • Comfort with travel within the region, a customer-service mindset, and the ability to work independently on-site.
