Our client National Bank of Pakistan is looking for a Assistant Manager - Policy Consumer Unsecured Finance (AVP) in Karachi. In line with our strategy, the Bank is looking for talented, dedicated and experienced professional(s) for the following positions in the area of Risk Management based at Karachi.

The individuals who fulfill the below basic-eligibility criteria may apply for the following positions:

Position

Assistant Manager - Policy Consumer Unsecured Finance (AVP)

Reporting to

Unit Head - Policy Consumer Products - Retail & Program Lending Division

Educational / Professional Qualification

• Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a local or international university / college / institute recognized by the HEC of Pakistan
• Candidates having Masters degree and / or any other relevant certification(s) will be preferred

Experience

• Minimum 06 years of banking experience, including at least 04 years in Unsecured Consumer Policy and / or Credit Risk and / or Product Program based lending across Consumer, Agri & SBP schemes. Experience in Housing Finance, Auto Finance or other Unsecured lending products will be an added advantage
• Candidates with experience in a similar role within commercial banks will be preferred

Preferred Other Skills / Expertise / Knowledge Required

• Sound knowledge of Unsecured Consumer and Retail policies, Agri & SME financing and SBP regulations
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and consumer & Agri. lending market dynamics
• Goal oriented and results-driven, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Proficient in MS Office
• Detail oriented, with sound business acumen

Outline of Main Duties / Responsibilities

• To formulate, review and maintain the policy and all unsecured Consumer & Agri. product programs
• To set the target market, risk acceptance criteria, exposure limits, tenors, and collateral norms.
• To review and analyze all policies and product programs submitted by business groups collaborate with cross functional teams to embed consumer risk considerations into decision making
• To review amendments to product programs, proposals, policies, SOPs, scorecards, ORR models, and deviation matrices, and recommend appropriate changes and risk mitigation measures
• To assess portfolio risk and recommend appropriate lending criteria, limits, risk mitigants and approval requirements
• To review policy exceptions and deviations and provide recommendations based on risk considerations and delegated authority
• To ensure credit policies and processes remain effective and support sound credit decision making
• To incorporate stakeholder feedback into product programs and manuals, and document all policy changes with an adequate audit trail.
• To perform any other assignment assigned by the supervisor(s)

Employment Type

The employment will be on contractual basis for three years which may be renewed at discretion of the Management. Selected candidates will be offered compensation package and other benefits as per Banks Policy / rules.
