Safety Specialist

We are seeking a Safety Specialist to lead workplace safety programs, promote a safety-first culture, and support compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other applicable regulations. This role conducts inspections, delivers training, investigates incidents, manages safety records, and helps reduce workplace risk.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, update, and enforce safety policies, procedures, and the Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP).Conduct workplace inspections, identify hazards, document corrective actions, and follow through on resolution.Investigate incidents, near-misses, and accidents; prepare reports and recommend preventive measures.Deliver employee safety training, including forklift and overhead crane operator training.Maintain emergency response and evacuation plans and coordinate drills.Monitor permits, certifications, regulatory changes, and safety documentation.Maintain accurate records and provide safety performance reports to management.Analyze safety trends and recommend improvements to systems and processes.Serve as a liaison among employees, management, and regulatory agencies. xzbcwsv
