What sets the channel apart is craft: hard ideas made legible and beautiful through narration,animation, and edit working as one. This role is where you learn to cut at that standard.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Motion Designer role based in New Delhi. The Motion Designer will create high-quality motion graphics and animations that support Hyper Quest’s visual storytelling across episodes, trailers, explainers, and social media content. Day-to-day tasks include conceptualizing and storyboarding sequences, designing and animating graphics, integrating motion elements with video footage, and collaborating closely with writers, editors, and producers to translate complex ideas into clear visual narratives. The role also involves preparing assets for video production, maintaining visual consistency with the brand, optimizing motion design for multiple platforms, and iterating quickly based on feedback.

Qualifications

• Strong motion design and motion graphics skills, with a portfolio showcasing dynamic visual storytelling.
• Hands-on experience with animation and storyboarding, from concept sketches to fully realized sequences.
• Practical knowledge of video production workflows, including asset preparation, compositing, and rendering.
• Proficiency in industry-standard tools (e.g., After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, or equivalent).
• Ability to translate complex, philosophical or scientific ideas into clear, engaging visual narratives.
• Strong sense of timing, pacing, typography, and visual composition for long-form and short-form content.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work closely with creative and editorial teams.
• Relevant education or training in animation, design, film, or a related field is preferred; equivalent practical experience is valued.
• Attention to detail, openness to feedback, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
