Job Description
Salary: $84,000 - 124,000 per year Requirements:
- Experience in computer networking and technical support
- Degree in computer science, information technology, or a related discipline
- Proficiency with Windows, SharePoint, and OneDrive
- Strong understanding of IT support principles and practices
- Bilingual French/English candidates preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong interpersonal professionalism
- Valid Class 5 drivers licence with a clean driving record
- Critical thinking skills, sound problem-solving ability, initiative, and the capacity to work under pressure
- DCS/DEC required
- 1 year of IT support experience preferred
- Provide technical assistance to end users for inquiries, complaints, and support requests related to our platform and testing systems through phone, email, and an online ticketing system
- Carry out routine maintenance and troubleshoot operating systems to keep them functioning properly
- Set up and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless networks
- Protect network security and improve overall network performance
- Assist with sourcing and deploying new hardware and software systems
- Support the planning and delivery of our IT infrastructure projects, including system upgrades, network expansions, and technology migrations
- Manage internal and external quality control processes
- Prepare documentation for technical procedures and user guides
- Analyze large data sets and build reports and dashboards for operational reporting and decision-making
