Self-Employed Independent Contractor - This is a contractor position only and is not a full-time, permanent, or employed role. Assessors will be engaged on an independent contractor basis and assigned work according to programme requirements, geographic coverage, qualifications, and availability.
We are seeking experienced self-employed Food Safety Auditors and Social Assessors to support the delivery of a global workplace assessment programme.
Unlike traditional social compliance or food safety audits, this programme places significant emphasis on the physical and psychological safety and wellbeing of workers. As an independent contractor, you will conduct assessments at site level, evaluating the extent to which workplace standards, policies, and management systems are effectively implemented.
Contractors will be engaged on an assignment-by-assignment basis and will be responsible for delivering assessments in accordance with programme requirements and protocols.
As a self-employed contractor, you will:

Review management systems, policies, and workplace practices.
A recognised qualification in Food Safety.
Experience conducting food safety audits, assessments, inspections, or compliance evaluations.
Strong interviewing, evidence-gathering, and report-writing skills.
APSCA registration or qualification is highly desirable for candidates undertaking social assessments.
Additional qualifications in social compliance, ethical trade, environmental management, occupational health & safety, or auditing are advantageous.
