Role Description The Tax Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Cincinnati, OH. This position oversees complex tax engagements, including planning, compliance, and preparation for business and individual clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing & reviewing tax returns, researching tax law issues, providing strategic tax planning recommendations, and ensuring accurate, timely filings. The Tax Manager will supervise and mentor tax staff, manage client relationships, and coordinate with internal teams to improve processes and maintain high service standards. The role also involves monitoring regulatory changes, supporting tax audits, and contributing to firm-wide initiatives to enhance tax practice quality and efficiency.
QualificationsDemonstrated expertise in tax planning and tax compliance, with the ability to develop and implement effective tax strategies.Strong skills in tax preparation and application of tax law, including experience with complex individual and business returns.Ability to interpret and apply federal, state, and local tax regulations to diverse client situations.Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licenseSeveral years of progressive tax experience in public accounting or a similar professional environment, including supervisory responsibilities.Proficient in tax and accounting software, with strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills. xzbcwsv Effective communication and client service skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and lead projects.
