ABOUT THE ROLEA rare number two leadership role has become available at a Forbes and Michelin Key ultra-luxury resort in Florida. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this role oversees day-to-day operations and the guest experience at one of the most exclusive and intimate resorts in the United States.
WHAT YOU'LL DOServe as the operational second-in-command, supporting the Managing Director in the overall leadership of the propertyTake full ownership of the guest experience, ensuring every touchpoint reflects the resort's ultra-luxury standardsOversee day-to-day resort operations across all departments with a strong focus on rooms and guest servicesLead, develop, and inspire the leadership team, fostering a culture of excellence, warmth, and accountabilityManage the unique logistical and operational complexities of an island environmentBuild and maintain personalized relationships with guests, driving repeat visits and loyaltySupport financial performance, cost management, and operational reporting to the Managing Director
WHAT YOU BRINGProven senior leadership experience at a luxury boutique or remote resort property, ideally as a Resort Manager, Hotel Manager, or strong number twoA strong rooms background is essential for this roleExperience in Caribbean, island, or remote destination hospitality is a significant advantageDeep understanding of Forbes 5-Star, or equivalent ultra-luxury standards xzbcwsv Exceptional guest-facing skills with the ability to deliver highly personalized, instinctive serviceComfortable navigating the operational complexities of a remote, boat-access-only environmentValid US work authorization required
