About Lumida

Lumida is a modern wealth advisor and Wealth Architect for owners and creators.

Our mission is to make money intelligent. We bring investing, trust and estate planning, and tax strategy together in a single wealth architecture - helping clients grow, protect, and transfer wealth with greater intention.

Our investment platform spans public markets and differentiated alternatives including select pre-IPO opportunities for qualified clients. Our approach is institutional in its breadth, non-consensus in its thinking, and deeply personal in its application.

Lumida is a tech-first, AI-native firm built by a technology founder. We are making significant investments in proprietary AI Services that identify opportunities across a client’s financial life, strengthen investment research, automate client-service workflows, and help our advisors deliver faster, smarter, and more personalized advice.

Our team shares the mindset of our clients: curious, original, and driven to build what does not yet exist. Lumida is venture-backed, with investors including former SEC Chairman Arthur Levitt, and supported by a leadership and advisory network with deep experience across investing, technology, and financial services.

Lumida’s differentiated, non-consensus insights reach a broad audience through our podcast, newsletter, and social media, with recognition across major outlets including The Wall Street Journal and CNBC. Lumida Wealth

What you will own

Everything that determines whether a Lumida podcast episode gets made, found and watched. You are the owner of the shows, including the flagship Non-Consensus Investing podcast hosted by Ram Ahluwalia, and any new shows we launch.

  • Audience growth: subscribers, watch time, and reach across YouTube, X and audio platforms are your scorecard.
  • The creative: show concept, format, episode structure, titles, thumbnails and tone.
  • The pipeline: from guest booking to prep, recording, editing, publishing and promotion, with nothing falling through the cracks.
  • The quality bar: what ships under the Lumida name, and how fast it ships.

Responsibilities

Strategy and creative

  • Set the growth strategy for each show: audience, positioning, release cadence, and 90-day and 12-month goals.
  • Define and evolve show formats, episode structures, series and recurring segments.
  • Write titles, descriptions and hooks, and direct thumbnails, built for YouTube click-through and retention.
  • Study what works on YouTube and in the market, and test and iterate on packaging.
  • Hold the creative vision and make the final creative call on every episode.

Talent booking and preparation

  • Build and manage the guest pipeline: identify, pitch, book and schedule high-caliber guests, including those with audiences that can bring new viewers.
  • Research each guest and write briefing documents, question sets and episode run-of-show for the host.
  • Prep hosts and guests before recording so conversations are sharp, on-brand and worth watching.
  • Manage guest relations before, during and after the episode.

Production

  • Run recording sessions, including pre-recorded and live formats, and manage the episode from raw recording to final cut.
  • Direct editing, whether in-house or with freelancers or vendors: pacing, cuts, audio quality, graphics and chapters.
  • Make sure every episode meets the quality bar for sound, picture, accuracy and brand before it publishes.
  • Document the production process as an SOP so it is repeatable and can scale.

Publishing and distribution

  • Own the publishing calendar and publish across YouTube, X, and audio platforms (Apple Podcasts, Spotify, etc.).
  • Run YouTube properly: Premieres, metadata, chapters, playlists, end screens, cards, Shorts and community posts.
  • Work with the marketing and social team to turn each episode into clips, quotes and promotional assets.
  • Coordinate with Ram and the brand's social channels so the existing audience is driven to the podcast.

Guest collaboration and cross-promotion

  • Make guest collaboration standard practice: YouTube collaborator invitations, guest restreams and coordinated posts.
  • Give guests the assets and links they need to promote their episode, and follow up to make sure they do.
  • Build relationships with other shows and creators for cross-promotion and audience swaps.

Analytics and optimization

  • Track and report on YouTube Studio, X and podcast platform metrics: views, watch time, click-through rate, retention, subscriber conversion and traffic sources.
  • Turn the data into decisions: what to make more of, what to stop, and what to test next.
  • Give leadership a clear monthly view of performance against goals.

Everything else it takes

  • Own whatever else is needed to make the shows succeed. This is an ownership role, not a checklist.

How you work with the Technical Director

You own the outcome; the Technical Director makes the technical side work so you can focus on the show. When the two overlap, you decide what the episode needs and the Technical Director decides how to deliver it.

What we are looking for

This is a senior, proven-operator role. We want someone who has already grown a show and can show the numbers.

  • Proven track record: (5+) years producing podcasts or video shows, with at least one show you grew meaningfully. Be ready to show audience and performance results.
  • YouTube-native podcasting: deep, hands-on knowledge of how podcasts grow on YouTube: titles, thumbnails, click-through rate, retention, Premieres, collaborations, Shorts and clips, and the algorithm's behavior.
  • End-to-end ownership: you have run a show from concept to publishing without needing someone else to hold the pieces together.
  • Strong creative and editorial judgment: you know what makes a conversation worth watching, and you can pitch, shape and defend a format.
  • Guest booking and relationships: you can land high-caliber guests and make them want to promote the episode.
  • Interviewing and prep: you can research a guest quickly and write sharp briefs and question sets.
  • Data-driven: comfortable in YouTube Studio and podcast analytics, and you change what you do based on what the numbers say.
  • Production fluency: working knowledge of remote recording and streaming tools (for example StreamYard), audio quality, and editing workflows, enough to direct editors and hold the quality bar.
  • Operator mindset: organized, fast, accountable, and comfortable owning outcomes in a small team without heavy process.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with finance, investing, markets or private credit, or the ability to learn the subject quickly and talk credibly with expert guests.
  • Experience producing long-form interview or business and finance podcasts.
  • Hands-on video editing skills (Premiere Pro, Descript, DaVinci Resolve or similar).
  • A network of potential guests in finance, investing or business media.
  • Experience with X (Twitter) as a distribution channel and with clip-driven social strategy.
  • Experience building SOPs and managing freelancers or an editing team.

What success looks like

First 30 days: learn the shows, audience and past performance; audit the current pipeline, packaging and analytics; deliver a written plan with goals and priorities.

First 60 days: run the full production and publishing cycle yourself, with a documented SOP, a booked guest pipeline for the next (6-8) weeks, and a new packaging standard for titles and thumbnails.

First 90 days: a consistent release cadence, a measurable lift in click-through rate and watch time, guest collaboration and cross-promotion running on every episode, and a monthly performance report to leadership.

12 months: sustained growth in subscribers, watch time and reach (target to be set with leadership), a recognizable show format and brand, and a pipeline of guests and shows that no longer depends on any single person.
