Category Imaging - Radiology Tech Job Type Contract Seeking an experienced Imaging professional to join a dynamic Radiology team within a high-acuity Level II Trauma Center, with the possibility of conversion to Level I. This fast-paced environment serves a large inpatient and outpatient population, including adults and occasionally pediatric outpatients or emergency cases. The facility is equipped with advanced technology and offers the opportunity to work with a supportive team handling trauma, surgical, diagnostic, portable, and fluoroscopy imaging. Schedule/Hours: Four 10-hour mid shifts per week 11:00 AM start time Holiday coverage expectation: One major and one minor holiday per policy Weekend rotation typically once a month (subject to change) Voluntary on-call available Qualifications: BLS certification (required) ARRT certification (required) Strong experience in X-ray Tech/Radiologic Technologist duties, including fluoroscopy, surgery, portable and trauma diagnostics O-arm and DEXA experience preferred but not required Minimum of 1 year relevant experience for seasoned candidates; first-time travelers welcome with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in required skills Ability to float within main Radiology department as needed Flexibility to purchase and use personal markers Responsibilities: Perform high-volume imaging procedures on a 1:1 patient ratio, averaging 4 patients per hour Provide thorough inpatient and outpatient radiology services, including trauma support and surgical imaging Utilize Cerner EMR and operate equipment such as GE and Siemens Fluoroscopy rooms, Konica and Siemens X-ray rooms, and Carestream/GE portable units Collaborate closely with technologists, assistants, and students, especially on weekends and off-shifts Rotate shifts and provide care in various radiology areas as required Benefits and Perks: Free onsite parking Flexible scrub color policy Comprehensive orientation (1 full day plus 2-3 unit shifts) Opportunity to work in a high-acuity teaching environment with career development potential If you are passionate about delivering quality radiologic care in a supportive and fast-paced setting, apply today to take the next step in your imaging career! $1,935 - $2,040/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates.
