Job Description
Job Purpose Responsible for driving
IOL sales and demand generation
across the assigned territory by regularly engaging with ophthalmologists, eye surgeons, hospitals, and dealers, while providing effective product and procedure knowledge. Key Responsibilities Generate demand and drive sales of
IOL products
across the assigned territory. Regularly visit
ophthalmologists, eye surgeons, hospitals, and key customers
and maintain strong professional relationships. Demonstrate good knowledge of
IOL products, surgical procedures, and product applications . Achieve assigned
sales and growth targets . Follow and implement the organisation's sales process and product strategies. Liaise with
dealers/distributors
to ensure smooth product supply and accurate sales data. Collect and report
competitor information, market updates, and customer feedback
to the Area Manager. Collect and submit
Post-Market Surveillance (PMS) forms
as required for regulatory compliance. Maintain the required level of customer and
OR (Operation Theatre) visits
as per business requirements. Maintain and regularly update the
doctor call list and customer database . Maintain customer records to track
targets, performance, opportunities, and achievements . Stay updated on
technical knowledge, IOL products, surgical procedures, and competitor products . Promote products ethically and strictly adhere to the organisation's values, policies, and compliance requirements. Ensure that any customer commitment is made only with the approval of the reporting manager, wherever required. Submit
monthly tour/coverage plans, daily call reports (DCR), and expense statements
through the prescribed system within timelines. Undertake any other sales or business-related responsibilities assigned by the reporting manager or management. Preferred Candidate Profile Experience in
IOL / ophthalmic products / ophthalmic medical devices / surgical products
sales is preferred. Experience working with
ophthalmologists, eye surgeons, hospitals, and dealers/distributors
will be an advantage. Good understanding of
ophthalmic procedures and products . Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-management skills. Target-oriented with strong field-sales discipline. Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory. Professional appearance and strong customer-facing skills. Location: HQ

Bachelor’s Degree in
Optometry, Science, Pharmacy, or relevant field
