About the Role
To deliver high-quality teaching, undertake impactful research, mentor students, contribute to curriculum development, and support academic administration in accordance with UGC regulations and the University's academic standards.
Responsibilities
Teach undergraduate, postgraduate courses in Mathematics. Develop and revise curriculum, course materials, laboratory/computational exercises, and assessment methods. Conduct research in core and applied areas of Mathematics and publish in reputed peer-reviewed journals. Guide undergraduate projects, postgraduate dissertations, and doctoral scholars (as applicable). Obtain funded research projects, consultancy assignments, and establish academic collaborations. Participate in accreditation, NBA/NAAC/NIRF activities, examination duties, admissions, and other academic administration. Organize FDPs, workshops, seminars, conferences, and outreach activities. Mentor students and contribute to placement, innovation, and entrepreneurship initiatives. Perform any other academic or administrative responsibilities assigned by the University.Qualifications
Assistant Professor Master’s degree in mathematics with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade) from a recognized University. Ph. D. in Mathematics as per applicable UGC Regulations for University appointments. NET/SLET/SET qualification wherever applicable, or exemption as provided under UGC Regulations. Good academic record with demonstrated teaching and/or research potential.
Associate Professor Ph. D. in Mathematics. Master's Degree with at least 55% marks. Minimum 8 years of teaching and/or research experience in a University/College/Accredited Research Institution. Evidence of quality publications, research guidance, academic contributions, and other eligibility requirements as prescribed by UGC.
Professor Ph. D. in Mathematics. Minimum 10 years of teaching and/or research experience in University/College/Research Institution, with a distinguished record of research publications. Demonstrated academic leadership, successful guidance of research scholars, funded research/consultancy, and fulfillment of UGC eligibility criteria for Professor.
Required Skills Strong teaching and communication skills. Research aptitude with quality publications. Ability to secure research grants and undertake consultancy. Excellent mentoring, teamwork, and administrative capabilities.
