Job Description

Resident Periodontist & Implantologist (MDS)

Company: PureAura Health Care Private Limited (Apollo Dental Clinics)  Location: East Bengaluru — Sarjapur Road, Harlur, Yamare, Varthur, Kadugodi (base clinic with network rotation based on case scheduling)  Employment Type: Full-time, on-site (Resident specialist role)  Experience: Minimum 2 years post-MDS clinical experience with independent surgical implant placementAbout the Company

PureAura Health Care Private Limited operates a growing network of Apollo Dental Clinics across East Bengaluru, delivering high-quality, patient-centered dental care through structured clinical protocols and an in-house team of MDS specialists across 8 departments. We treat our specialists as clinical partners — with a steady referral case flow from our network of general dentists, centralized implant inventory support, and a transparent, performance-linked compensation model.

Role Overview

As Resident Periodontist & Implantologist, you will own the periodontics and implantology caseload across our clinic network. Specialist cases are identified and referred to you by our associate dentists across all clinics, giving you a consistent surgical case flow without having to build your own patient base. You will handle cases end-to-end — from diagnosis and surgical planning through placement, prosthetic coordination, and long-term maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

Periodontics

  • Diagnose and manage the full spectrum of periodontal disease — non-surgical therapy, flap surgeries, crown lengthening, mucogingival and regenerative procedures
  • Design and run periodontal maintenance programs for treated patients

Implantology

  • Complete implant workflow: case assessment, CBCT-based treatment planning, surgical placement, second-stage surgery, and post-placement review
  • Coordinate the prosthetic phase with the in-house prosthodontic team
  • Manage peri-implant complications, including peri-implantitis

Clinical Collaboration

  • Review referred cases with associate dentists and confirm specialist treatment plans
  • Present treatment plans and options clearly to patients, including staged and financial considerations
  • Guide the general dentist team on periodontal case identification and referral quality
  • Complete all clinical documentation, consent forms, and surgical notes in the practice management software on the same day of treatment
  • Maintain strict surgical asepsis, sterilization, and biomedical waste protocols

Mandatory Qualifications
  • MDS in Periodontology (or Periodontics & Implantology) from a DCI-recognized institution
  • Valid registration with the Karnataka State Dental Council (or willingness to transfer registration before joining)
  • Minimum 2 years of post-MDS clinical experience with a demonstrated record of independently placed implants
  • Proficiency in CBCT interpretation and digital implant planning
  • Confident surgical hands across periodontal and implant procedures
  • Strong patient communication skills — ability to explain complex, multi-visit treatment plans and build trust
  • Commitment to infection control, patient safety, and ethical professional practice
  • Willingness to work full-time on-site with a rotational weekly off and to travel between network clinics as per case scheduling

Preferred
  • Experience with bone grafting, sinus lifts, and guided bone regeneration
  • Exposure to full-arch / immediate-loading implant protocols
  • Prior experience in an organized multi-clinic or specialist referral setting
What We Offer
  • Fixed monthly salary plus  uncapped specialty treatment revenue share
  • Consistent surgical case flow — referrals from general dentists across a 5-clinic network
  • Centralized implant inventory with per-case kit dispatch — no procurement hassles, you operate, we handle logistics
  • In-house multidisciplinary support: prosthodontics, oral surgery, radiology, and 5 other MDS departments
  • Clear growth path toward  Specialty Department Head as the network scales

Selection Process

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a  clinical interaction day at one of our clinics, including case discussion with our clinical leadership, before any offer is extended.

  • To apply, share your updated CV with details of your surgical case experience (implant volumes, procedure mix), current practice setting, and current/expected compensation.
