About the Company

A well-established commercial general contractor is looking to add 2–3 Assistant Project Managers and Project Managers to its Asheville team. This is an excellent opportunity for construction professionals looking to grow their careers with a reputable GC/CM and work on a strong pipeline of commercial projects.

About the Role

The company is seeking APMs with a minimum of 3 years of commercial construction experience and newer PMs with at least 5 years of experience working for a comparable commercial GC/CM. Experience across healthcare, higher education, and K–12 construction is preferred, along with a background in both new construction and renovation projects.

Responsibilities

Assist with or manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through completionCoordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendorsManage project schedules, budgets, contracts, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentationAssist with procurement and subcontractor buyoutMonitor project costs, schedules, quality, and overall performanceParticipate in project meetings and maintain communication with project stakeholdersWork closely with Superintendents and field teams to support successful project deliveryAssist with resolving project issues and maintaining client relationshipsEnsure projects remain on schedule and within budget

Qualifications

APM

3+ years of commercial construction experienceExperience with a commercial GC or CMStrong organizational and communication skillsAbility to work effectively across multiple projects and priorities

PM

5+ years of commercial construction experienceExperience with a comparable commercial GC or CMExperience managing commercial projects from start to finishStrong understanding of project financials, scheduling, contracts, and subcontractor management
