Join us in our mission to improve health and improve lives. Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our team in Nevada to cover Las Vegas, Henderson, North Las Vegas, and Pahrump. Work Schedule: Monday – Friday hours will vary between 4:00 am – 6:00 pm, Saturday and Sunday 5:30 am - 2:00 pm; additional days/hours as needed Job Responsibilities:

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed

Minimum Qualifications: - Nevada state issued laboratory assistant license Preferred Qualifications:

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 2 years or more experience as a phlebotomist
• Drawing on pediatrics to geriatrics

Additional Job Standards:

• In lieu of state license requirement listed above, an application for a lab assistant license filed with the NV Department of Health at time of hire may meet license requirement
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
• Ability to work in fast paced / high volume work environments
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
• Reliable transportation
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision

Pay Range: $17.75 - $27.69 per hour Float Differential: Additional $1.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data. Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the Phlebotomy Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
