Software Test Engineer / Quality Analyst

Company: SamvadSocial Technologies Location: Viman Nagar, Pune Experience: 2–3 Years Employment Type: Full-Time Joining: Immediate Joiner Preferred About the Role SamvadSocial Technologies is looking for a Software Test Engineer / Quality Analyst with 2–3 years of experience to ensure the quality, functionality, and reliability of our software applications through manual and automation testing. Key Responsibilities Create and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans. Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing. Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python and Playwright . Identify, document, and track defects using Jira . Perform API testing and validate application responses. Collaborate with developers and product teams to troubleshoot and resolve defects. Conduct regression testing for bug fixes and new releases. Maintain test documentation and testing reports. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to QA process improvements. Required Skills Hands-on experience in Manual and Automation Testing . Strong knowledge of Python . Practical experience with Playwright automation. Good understanding of functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing. Experience with Jira or similar defect-tracking tools. Knowledge of API testing / Postman is preferred. Basic understanding of Git/version control . Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum . Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
