Join our team as a day shift, part-time, Surgery (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) at Tallgrass Surgical Center in Topeka Kansas.

Responsibilities:
* The Circulating Nurse is responsible for coordinating and managing the multidisciplinary activities required to provide a safe environment for patients undergoing surgical intervention.
* Assess patient's physical and psychological needs.
* Evaluate and implement appropriate measures to assure a safe recovery from anesthesia.
* The OR nurse serves as a patient advocate in the provision of care and is responsible for ensuring patient safety during intra-operative period and with recovery from anesthesia during immediate post op period and with transport to PACU.
Qualifications:
Job Requirements:
* Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing;
* Current Nursing License in the State of Kansas;
* BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
* Current ACLS certifications;
Preferred Job Requirements:
* Two years of experience
