Coverage operates on a 1:3 call ratio, and clinicians must maintain continuous availability for both scheduled and emergent surgical needs throughout each assigned call period. Primary responsibilities include performing general surgery procedures and managing surgical consultations as required. Call coverage is a required component of this assignment, and board certification in General Surgery is mandatory.
