As Account Executive, Sourcing, you’ll play a key role in turning client ideas into expertly delivered print and campaign materials. Acting as the link between clients and suppliers, you’ll provide responsive, exceptional service from quotation through delivery—keeping clients informed every step of the way. Working closely with the central procurement team, you’ll identify the right suppliers, negotiate costs and timelines, maintain benchmark information, and ensure every job is processed efficiently and in line with internal procedures.
Role ResponsibilitiesStrong knowledge and hands-on experience managing print and premium promotional programs, influencers mailers and PR kits, production processes, specifications, timelines, costing, sampling/proofing, and supplier coordination.Full understanding of litho (sheet/web) print process, advising on most suitable equipment and suppliers for all print jobsAdvise on economic formats, work with clients and vendors to derive cost effective and fit for print projectsProvide technical input and advice on print projects as requiredProject relevant negotiations as and where neededProcurement of print, delivering on time, to specification, to quality and to contractual targetsTake accurate information from our Clients, formulating full production briefsProduce detailed print specifications to suppliersMaintain tracking of all projects in procurement toolAdhere to defined ordering authorization and billing processWork within Tag's operating budgetDevelop a good understanding of the client's business and industry sectorBuild relationships with clients and manage their perceptions and expectationsDevelop strong relationships with suppliersDemonstrate an understanding of the technological direction of the industry and how these advances will benefit the clientResolve client/supplier issues, escalate where appropriate
Role Qualifications & Required Skills
Bachelor's Degree. A combination of education and work experience can be substituted. xzbcwsv 2+ years previous experience in a similar print procurement or print vendor management environmentIntermediate skill level with MS OfficeOrganized with excellent attention to detailExperience in managing a budget and achieving targetsExperience negotiating pricingExcellent client facing and customer service skills, with an ability to build relationships and develop new businessCommercially strong and numerateCommitted, resilient and prepared to work extra hours as requiredExperience of working in an environment where priorities are constantly changing. Can manage change, and keep a clear perspective of end goalsTeam worker, with positive outlook who can inspire and motivates peersFocus on project management, timely delivery and achievement of Key Performance Indicators
