Contract Manager

• Manage the full lifecycle of complex commercial contracts, from pre-award and procurement through project execution and closeout.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and administer a variety of contracts, change orders, amendments, purchase agreements, and other commercial documents.
• Maintain contract tracking systems and risk registers, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, key milestones, deliverables, and reporting requirements.
• Serve as a primary resource for contract-related matters, including issue resolution, claims management, contractor performance, and commercial negotiations.
• Partner closely with project, procurement, operations, and leadership teams in support of capital improvement, construction, infrastructure, and operational initiatives.
• Review invoices, payment applications, contract modifications, and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and contractual compliance.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate contractual, financial, schedule, and operational risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with legal, finance, procurement, insurance, and business stakeholders to resolve complex commercial and contractual issues.
• Support the procurement and administration of construction, engineering, maintenance, and vendor service agreements.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of contract management processes, policies, controls, and governance practices.
• Prepare status reports, executive summaries, and contract performance updates for key stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Participate in occasional site visits, stakeholder meetings, and project reviews as needed to support contract administration and project objectives.
• Must be open to periodic travel, including approximately monthly travel to California for business meetings, project coordination, and stakeholder engagement.
