Every assignment requires close coordination across multiple countries, suppliers, carriers, warehouses, customs authorities, and customer stakeholders, making each day both challenging and rewarding. During project assignments, team members may travel for three or more weeks at a time and work in active shipyards and construction-like environments. Duties and Responsibilities A Junior Project Manager will support the planning and execution of cruise drydock and marine logistics projects from start to finish. Responsibilities include:
- Coordinating international shipments across air, ocean, and road freight
- Working closely with suppliers, customers, and DSV offices worldwide
- Supporting project planning, milestones, and execution
- Monitoring critical shipments and proactively resolving issues
- Participating in customer meetings and project reviews
- Learning project budgeting, reporting, and operational planning
- Assisting with development of logistics strategies and continuous improvements

- A bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is typically required for this position.
- At least 5 years of experience in transportation and logistics project management is preferred. Experience working in a customer-facing role is also desirable.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop project plans, manage resources, and monitor progress
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with customers, internal teams, and external partners
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks and issues
- Knowledge of transportation and logistics operations, including freight forwarding, customs brokerage, and warehousing
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards, including international trade compliance requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Experience with project management software, such as Microsoft Project or Smartsheet
- Experience working with international customers and partners
- Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma process improvement methodologies
