Motion Graphics Artist (Design + Animation)

Location: Thane, Mumbai (On-site)

At Postboy Studios , we're looking for a Motion Graphics Artist who is equally passionate about design and animation . We need someone who can not only animate beautifully but also conceptualize and design visually engaging frames from scratch.

If you have a great eye for typography, layouts, color, composition, and can bring those designs to life through motion, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

• Design and animate high-quality 2D motion graphics for digital campaigns, brand films, explainers, social media, and corporate videos.
• Create visual concepts, storyboards, and style frames before animation.
• Develop engaging layouts, typography, iconography, and illustrations.
• Work closely with creative directors, writers, and clients to translate ideas into compelling visual stories.
• Maintain consistency with brand guidelines while exploring fresh creative directions.
• Edit and enhance animations with sound, transitions, and visual effects.
• Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in Motion Graphics and Graphic Design.
• Strong design fundamentals including typography, layout, color theory, composition, and visual hierarchy.
• Excellent knowledge of Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro .
• Ability to conceptualize and design, not just animate.
• Experience creating storyboards, style frames, and presentation-ready visuals.
• Understanding of animation principles, pacing, and storytelling.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• A strong portfolio showcasing both design and animation skills is mandatory.

Bonus Skills

• Experience with Cinema 4D or Blender.
• Basic illustration skills.
• Knowledge of AI creative tools such as Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, Runway, or similar.
• Experience working with brand campaigns and advertising agencies.
