Role Description The Restaurant Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Kolkata Area. This role oversees daily floor operations, including managing staff schedules, coordinating table service, and ensuring smooth shifts from opening to closing. The Restaurant Supervisor supports team members on the floor, addresses guest inquiries and concerns, and maintains high standards of service and cleanliness. Responsibilities include monitoring food and beverage quality, supporting inventory control, and assisting with training and performance feedback for service staff. The role also involves collaborating with management on promotions, implementing service standards, and helping to create a welcoming environment that reflects the restaurant's Italian concept.
Qualifications
Strong supervisory skills with experience leading and motivating front-of-house teams. Proven focus on customer satisfaction and the ability to handle guest feedback professionally. Customer service skills, including a hospitable demeanor and solution-oriented mindset. Effective communication skills for interacting with guests, team members, and management. Knowledge of food & beverage operations, including menu familiarity and basic service standards. Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment, preferably in a supervisory role. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm during busy periods. Basic understanding of hygiene, safety, and compliance standards in food service. Diploma or degree in hospitality management or a related field is an advantage but not mandatory.Details
