Government Account Manager - Medical Equipment, Consumables & Pharmaceuticals
Reports to: Institutional Head / Senior Institutional Manager
Locations: Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Delhi, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal, Odisha, North-East, Jharkhand, Bihar, Chhattisgarh
Experience Required:
3-5 years relevant experience in government sales (District Medical Colleges, CHCs, PHCs, ESI, Army, CGHS, NMS, AIIMS etc.)
Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead business development efforts in the government healthcare sector. The role focuses on driving sales of medical equipment, consumables, and pharmaceuticals through strategic engagement with government institutions and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Onboarding of Dealer & Liaisoner of Government Institutions and responsible for Payment collection from them • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve targets in government healthcare institutions. • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in government hospitals, medical colleges, and public health centers. • Onboard and manage channel partners for institutional business. • Negotiate and close deals with government entities, ensuring favorable terms and compliance. • Provide product training and support to customers across therapy areas. • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer satisfaction. • Monitor government procurement processes, competitor activity, and market trends to inform strategy.
Candidate Profile:
• Proven experience in government sales, especially in district-level healthcare institutions. • Strong understanding of local procurement processes and government tendering systems. • Excellent stakeholder management skills, including engagement with government officials and hospital administrators.
• Bachelor's degree in pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business, or related field. • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. • Self-driven and capable of working independently across assigned regions.
