Project Control Specialist (Work from Home Country)

Euro Mechanical is looking for a Project Control Specialist to work remotely from their home country, supporting the financial and commercial management of manpower supply projects — budgets, revenue, costs, invoicing, payroll inputs, and purchase orders. This role is focused on manpower project finance and commercial operations, not EPC or construction project controls.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day financial and commercial activities of manpower supply projects
  • Prepare and monitor budgets, cost/revenue forecasts, and monthly financial reports
  • Perform budget-vs-actual analysis and investigate variances with Operations, Finance, Payroll, and Recruitment
  • Reconcile budgeted vs. actual manpower costs (salaries, overtime, accommodation, transport, visas, recruitment)
  • Monitor project profitability, gross margins, and cost consumption
  • Prepare monthly revenue recognition based on mobilized manpower, timesheets, and billable rates
  • Coordinate invoice preparation, client approvals, and submission; track unbilled/outstanding payments
  • Review timesheets, mobilization records, and billing rates in ERP
  • Monitor purchase orders, contract values, amendments, and consumption
  • Prepare management reports on variances, risks, and margin performance
  • Support cost optimisation and ensure compliance with contracts and internal controls
  • Coordinate with Project Managers, Operations, Finance, Payroll, Recruitment, Procurement, and clients

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
  • 8–10 years' experience in project finance, commercial operations, or financial analysis
  • Proven experience in manpower supply, staffing, workforce outsourcing, or similar service-based models
  • Strong skills in budget-vs-actual analysis, variance analysis, reconciliation, and profitability reporting
  • Understanding of manpower cost components (salaries, overtime, visas, mobilization, etc.)
  • Experience with timesheet-based invoicing, revenue recognition, and payroll coordination
  • Experience with contract/PO tracking, invoicing, and collections
  • Strong Excel/MS Office skills; Dynamics 365, ERP, or Power BI experience an advantage
  • Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Oil & Gas manpower supply experience is an advantage
