Job Description
Coordinates clinical activities for nursing care and support to patients in the department through the complete phase of treatment. Assists and oversees smooth clinic flow while maintaining a safe environment. Assesses and oversees patients physical and emotional needs and takes appropriate intervention. Educates patients and families regarding side effects of radiation therapy and other departmental procedures. Exercises clinical judgment with regard to patients symptoms and side effects and reports to the Radiation Oncologist as needed. Functions as a team player and participates in team meetings and activities Salary Range:
$35.34-$45.12 an hour The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the jobs compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.

- Education: Fulfill the requirements to be a licensed RN in NYS
- Experience: Oncology experience preferred.
- License/Certification Required: Current Registered Nurse license/current New York State Registration. Health Care Provider BLS CPR Certification required. For Highland site only: ACLS certified upon hire or to be obtained within 6 months of hire.
- Skills: basic computer skills, good IV skills preferred
