Secret Cleared Technical Writer

Insight Global is actively hiring a multiple Secret Cleared Technical Writers to join our team supporting a newly awarded DoD Program out of Elkridge Maryland. The selected candidates will join our high-performing team in developing technical manuals, how to guides and electronic content for advanced Ground and Air Radar systems.

Selected candidates should have a strong background writing, editing, and developing, technical manual and content such as Operating Procedures, Maintenance procedures, Troubleshooting procedures, Preventive Maintenance, etc. and be able to communicate clearly and effectively technical information and instructions to the military end-user.
An active Secret or Top Secret Clearance is required for this role.
Minimum job requirements include- Active DoD Secret or Top Secret Clearance- Bachelors Degree in STEM discipline and 3 years of experience OR no degree and 7 years of experience in Technical writing- Experience in Technical Writing for Radar, Electronic Warfare, or similar Military communication devices.- Experience with structured authoring applications, such as Arbortext, IADS viewer or other XML authoring software tools- Experience using Confluence and/or JIRA
Insight Global is hiring multiple candidates for this opening so exact pay will vary based on a number of factors including total years of experience in Technical Writing, depth of knowledge in Radar, RF, EW Systems, and Clearance level. xzbcwsv However, we anticipate paying 100K to 120K for this role as well as providing a comprehensive benefits package including health, vision, dental, and 401K benefits.
