Job Summary
The Portfolio Owner is responsible for tracking and reporting on the health of the IT project portfolio(s). This role facilitates investment decision making, monitors execution, tracks outcome benefits, and ensures solution compliance for their assigned portfolio(s). IT Portfolio Owner coordinates and facilitates activities with the: Project Managers, Value Assurance Team, Delivery Leads and Methodology team

Essential Functions
Leads the lifecycle of portfolio prioritization, from managing value propositions in the enterprise roadmap Drives portfolio management processes to ensure strategic alignment on technologies and goals alongside the enterprise architecture team Coordinates with Project Managers for their respective progress of the existing projects in development Develops reporting metrics and portfolio dashboards to allow for repeatable/predictable project release success and visibility into areas struggling with scope, schedule, resources, or budget Collaborates to develop, manage, and optimize portfolio management methodologies and disciplines Socializes and coaches IT team members on the utilization of portfolio tools and processes Facilitates and confirms resource and budget planning with the IT teams on new demands and partners to sequence projects into the Portfolio Identifies dependencies and critical paths and develops processes to maintain dependency tracking between product roadmaps and projects in collaboration with Management and project managers Improves and streamlines the portfolio and project lifecycle, by working closely with leadership, user base, and tools teams Identifies and resolves problems often anticipating issues before they occur or before they grow; develops and evaluates options and implements solutions Analyzes project risk profile and balances at the portfolio level Drives capacity planning for initial and ongoing identification of resource needs and scheduling that will be used for making critical portfolio decisions

Required Qualifications For Position
Bachelor's Degree 10+ years 10+ years of complex, enterprise-wide Project/Program management experience with at least 5 years of leadership experience across IT and business functions. Experience managing projects/programs $5 M+ that span multiple years and consist of a combination of internal/external and labor/non-labor cost components Experience with project cost management and resource capacity planning Experience implementing change management approaches to support programs Experience in the indirect management of team members, including assisting in the development, training and assignment of work/projects to other members of a team. Extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of project management best practices including knowledge of waterfall and agile SDLC methodologies and tools Must have excellent leadership skills (proven ability to coach, develop and lead a team) and must be able to work with a diverse project team consisting of resources from all parts of the organization (both IT & Business) Proven ability to engage and develop relationships with executive sponsors and key stakeholders with clarity and precision Strong Business Process Analysis skills and Business Process Mapping
Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)-PMI Upon Hire
Preferred Additional Qualifications for Position
Waterfall to Agile transformation experience highly preferred

Salary Range*:

$133,400.00 - $200,100.00

*The salary offered to a candidate is based on several factors including but not limited to the candidate’s skills, job-related knowledge, and relevant experience, as well as internal pay equity.
