We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Director specializing in Statutory Audit under Ind AS to join our prestigious management consulting firm. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the statutory audit processes, compliance requirements, and accounting standards applicable to Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS). Responsibilities :-
● Lead and manage statutory audit engagements in accordance with Ind AS and regulatory requirements.
● Oversee audit planning, execution, and reporting to ensure quality and compliance standards are met.
● Review financial statements and audit documentation for accuracy and completeness.
● Provide technical guidance and support to audit teams on complex accounting and auditing issues.
● Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their business and address audit-related concerns.
● Advise clients and teams on technical accounting issues relating to IFRS and/or Indian GAAP/ IGAAP / Local GAAP
● Mentor and train junior auditors, fostering professional growth and adherence to best practices. ● Coordinate with regulatory bodies and external stakeholders during audit processes and inspections.
● Identify risks and recommend internal control improvements to enhance financial reporting processes.
● Demonstrate thorough knowledge of the Audit Framework w.r.t: Sampling Guidance, Working Paper Requirements, Re-performance Standards, Quality Requirements, Social Compliance reviews. ● Stay updated with changes in Ind AS standards, auditing guidelines, and related regulations.
● Develop and implement audit plans

Criteria :-
● Chartered Accountant qualification (CA) with proven expertise in statutory audits under Ind AS (current experience).
● Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience in statutory audit within a reputed consulting or audit firm.
● In-depth knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and audit methodologies.
● Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements applicable to statutory audits.
● Demonstrated ability to manage multiple audit engagements and lead audit teams effectively.
● Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with attention to detail.
● Proven capability in client relationship management and stakeholder engagement.
● Experience in mentoring and developing audit professionals to drive team performance.
● Proficiency in audit software and other tools.
● Effective communication and leadership abilities.
