Qualifications8+ years of progressive leadership experience in transportation, logistics, passenger transportation, trucking, or fleet operationsProven success leading multi-site operations and managing large frontline workforcesStrong knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations, fleet operations, driver management, and transportation complianceExperience managing operational budgets, KPIs, forecasting, and continuous improvement initiativesDemonstrated ability to lead organizational change and build high-performing teamsStrong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsBachelor's degree preferred
Primary ResponsibilitiesProvide strategic and operational leadership for multi-site transportation operationsLead, coach, and develop operations managers, dispatch teams, maintenance leaders, and frontline personnelFoster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and company policiesOversee fleet utilization, dispatch, scheduling, route optimization, and service delivery to maximize operational efficiencyMonitor key performance indicators (KPIs), financial performance, labor productivity, and customer satisfaction metricsPartner closely with Safety, Maintenance, Human Resources, and Executive Leadership to achieve operational objectivesDevelop and implement standardized operating procedures and best practices across multiple locationsDrive operational efficiencies while maintaining exceptional customer service and employee engagementSupport budgeting, workforce planning, and strategic growth initiatives
