b Overview /b p As NAWI (Automation) Engineer in Hilton Food Group, you will support automated warehouse and conveyor systems, ensuring reliable operation, safety, and quality. You’ll lead maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement to boost performance. You’ll collaborate with production and logistics to improve OEE and implement equipment upgrades. This role offers exposure to innovative automation in a fast-growing food manufacturing environment and a clear path for development. /p b Pay / Benefits /b ul li Aviva DigiCare+ /li li competitive holiday allowance /li li life assurance (2x salary) /li li development and internal promotion /li li cycle to work scheme /li li Share Save scheme , discounts at retails and gyms` /li /ul b Responsibilities /b ul li Diagnose faults and perform remedial actions to engineering standards /li li Conduct planned preventative maintenance on automated systems /li li Propose and implement equipment improvements for reliability and efficiency /li li Attend PIT meetings to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) with production and logistics /li li Complete accurate breakdown and maintenance reports /li li Ensure correct booking out of spare parts from stores /li li Support installation and commissioning of new equipment /li li Contribute to special engineering and improvement projects /li li Provide technical support to warehouse operatives /li li Coordinate with contractors as required /li li Comply with hygiene, health safety, and company policies /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Recognised electrical apprenticeship to ONC/HNC level or equivalent /li li Strong electrical bias with experience in control systems (PLCs, contactors, relays, safety circuits) /li li Good mechanical knowledge /li li Experience in automated environments /li li Experience in food manufacturing environments advantageous /li /ul ul li Problem-solving /li li Team collaboration with production/logistics /li li Clear communication and technical guidance /li li PLCs and control systems /li li Electrical fault diagnosis and repair /li li Preventative maintenance (PPM) of automated systems /li /ul
