b Overview /b p In this role you lead HV/EHV projects from design to energisation, guiding cross-functional teams on large-scale UK transmission and distribution schemes. You will deliver safe, on-time, and on-budget outcomes across substations, cables, and lines, coordinating with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders. You’ll shape engineering solutions and governance across the full project lifecycle. /p b Pay / Benefits /b ul li Hybrid working arrangements /li li Company car/car allowance /li li Pension matched 5% /li li Career progression opportunities /li li Support with professional development and chartership /li li Exposure to major UK infrastructure projects /li /ul b Responsibilities /b ul li Develop project requirements into compliant, cost-effective engineering solutions. /li li Manage the delivery of HV and EHV projects across cable, overhead line, plant, and civils disciplines. /li li Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. /li li Coordinate internal engineering teams, contractors, clients, and external stakeholders. /li li Act as CDM Designer and/or Principal Designer where required. /li li Manage commercial interfaces and oversee external service providers. /li li Support projects throughout the full lifecycle, from feasibility and design through to commissioning and energisation. /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li HNC in Electrical Engineering or above /li li Experience delivering HV/EHV projects from 33kV to 400kV /li li Proven track record managing substation projects through the full project lifecycle /li li Strong understanding of transmission and distribution infrastructure (AIS GIS substations, Protection Control, Power transformers, Underground cables, Overhead lines) /li li Experience managing CAPEX and customer connection projects /li li Knowledge of engineering standards, earthing systems, and electrical clearances /li li Strong understanding of CDM regulations, health safety requirements, and project governance /li li Ability to review and interpret technical design documentation /li li Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills /li /ul ul li stakeholder management /li li communication /li li HV/EHV project delivery /li li AIS GIS substations /li li Protection Control systems /li li Power transformers /li /ul
