Tax Attorney – Entity Structuring & IP Licensing (Consultant / Outside Counsel)

I’m working with an established, growing company seeking an experienced Tax Attorney to review its related business entities, tax structure, and trademark licensing arrangements before launching a Florida licensing program.

Key Responsibilities:Review entity structuring, tax treatment, and intercompany transactions.Evaluate tax efficiency and income allocation.Analyze intellectual property ownership, trademark licensing, royalty arrangements, and related tax implications.Assess state tax exposure as the company expands its licensing program.Provide practical recommendations on restructuring and documentation.
Qualifications:JD; LL.M. in Taxation strongly preferred.5+ years of experience in tax planning and entity structuring for closely held businesses.Experience with IP holding companies, licensing agreements, and royalty arrangements.Experience advising franchisors, brand licensing companies, or multi-location businesses is a plus.Florida tax experience and CPA credentials are welcome. xzbcwsv Solo practitioners, boutique firms, and attorneys open to outside consulting engagements are encouraged to apply.
