Looking for a dynamic pediatric OT for a full-time outpatient pediatric position as part of the Mary Bridge health system network. Preferred clinician qualities include flexibility, reliability, commitment to quality, and the ability to operate at the highest level of clinical practice. Preference for experienced clinician with a broad skill set scope. Second language skills highly desirable. New grads considered. The employee must be self-driven, outcomes oriented, and able to demonstrate quality work within a fast paced environment, so as to meet productivity as it aligns with our stewardship value. A good candidate is also someone who has optimal time management skills, is highly collaborative, and able to see the “big picture”. Strong inter-disciplinary communication is required. MultiCare utilizes EPIC for all electronic medical records. FTE: 1.0, Shift: Days, Schedule: Days Position Summary The Occupational Therapist is an exciting opportunity at MultiCare, responsible for evaluating, planning and implementing occupational therapy services for in-patients and outpatients referred for Occupational Therapy. With varied and dynamic day-to-day functions, you will apply your service orientation, analysis and good judgment toward ensuring comprehensive occupational therapy care for patients. Responsibilities
- You will perform well in stress and emergency situations
- You will perform patient evaluations/re-evaluations, establish a treatment plan, and modify the treatment plan according to the needs of the patient and response to treatment
- You will perform treatment interventions for outpatient and/or inpatient population as directed
- You will perform documentation in the medical record that is timely and accurate
- You will communicate well with patients, peers, other health professionals in the coordination of care for the patients
- State of Washington Occupational Therapist license
- Minimum one (1) year of previous experience in occupational therapy preferred
