Job Role: Senior SAP HCM Consultant

Location: Bhopal, India

Work Mode: Onsite

Shift: 12:30 PM to 8:30 PM IST (CET Time Zone)

Notice Period: Immediate Joiners / Short Notice Preferred

Experience: 8-12 Years

Relevant Experience: Minimum 5 Years in SAP HCM with strong hands-on experience in SAP ECC HCM, Personnel Administration, Organizational Management, Time Management, and SAP Payroll

Budget: Maximum 25 LPA

REQUIREMENT FOR SENIOR SAP HCM CONSULTANT:

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, implement, integrate, test, deploy, and support SAP HCM solutions.
• Work closely with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to deliver SAP HCM solutions.
• Configure and maintain SAP HCM Personnel Administration (PA) processes.
• Configure employee master data, personnel actions, action types, infotypes, dynamic actions, and employee lifecycle processes.
• Configure enterprise and personnel structures .
• Support hiring, transfer, promotion, termination, and other employee lifecycle activities.
• Configure and support Organizational Management (OM) including organizational units, positions, jobs, relationships, and reporting structures.
• Maintain organizational structures and support OM–PA integration .
• Configure and support SAP HCM Time Management (PT) .
• Configure work schedules, holiday calendars, attendance, absence management, leave, overtime, shifts, and time-related processes.
• Configure Time Evaluation and related rules.
• Troubleshoot Time Management and Payroll integration issues.
• Configure and support SAP HCM Payroll (PY) processes.
• Configure payroll areas, payroll processing, wage types, payroll schemas, and Personnel Calculation Rules (PCRs) .
• Support gross-to-net payroll calculations , deductions, allowances, benefits, and statutory requirements.
• Support retroactive accounting and payroll corrections.
• Analyse payroll logs and troubleshoot payroll calculation issues.
• Support payroll posting to SAP FI/CO .
• Participate in parallel payroll runs and payroll reconciliation .
• Support integration between PA, OM, Time Management, and Payroll .
• Support integration between SAP HCM and SAP FI/CO, SuccessFactors Employee Central, Employee Central Payroll (ECP), SAP S/4HANA, time/attendance systems, banking/payment systems, and third-party HR/payroll applications .
• Perform functional integration analysis, data mapping, integration testing, error analysis, and data reconciliation.
• Participate in end-to-end SAP HCM implementation and rollout projects .
• Conduct business requirement workshops and perform fit-gap analysis .
• Prepare solution designs and functional specifications.
• Configure SAP HCM based on approved business requirements.
• Support data migration and validation activities.
• Prepare test scenarios, test scripts, and functional documentation.
• Lead and support SIT, UAT, regression testing, defect resolution, cutover, go-live, and hypercare activities.
• Provide L2/L3 SAP HCM functional support .
• Analyze and resolve incidents, service requests, and payroll-critical issues.
• Perform root-cause analysis for recurring HCM issues.
• Coordinate with ABAP, Basis, Security, Integration, and other technical teams .
• Monitor and resolve interface and data-replication issues.
• Ensure timely resolution of incidents within defined SLAs.
• Analyze enhancement requests and business changes.
• Assess impact on existing HCM processes.
• Prepare functional specifications and configure approved changes.
• Coordinate development, testing, and deployment activities.
• Support SAP upgrades, patches, enhancement packs, and release activities.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation .
• Maintain BRDs, fit-gap documents, solution designs, functional specifications, configuration documents, test scripts, UAT documentation, cutover plans, user guides, and production support documentation.
• Conduct knowledge-transfer sessions and mentor junior SAP HCM consultants.
• Act as the primary SAP HCM functional contact for assigned processes.
• Conduct workshops and requirement discussions with HR and Payroll stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into effective SAP HCM functional solutions.

Who Can Apply?

✔️ 6–8 years of experience in SAP HCM .

✔️ Minimum 5 years of relevant hands-on experience in SAP ECC HCM .

✔️ Strong experience in SAP HCM PA, OM, Time Management, and Payroll .

✔️ Strong understanding of end-to-end SAP Payroll processing .

✔️ Hands-on experience with Payroll Schemas and PCRs .

✔️ Strong knowledge of Wage Types, Payroll Areas, Payroll Processing, and Payroll Control Records .

✔️ Experience with Time Evaluation, Work Schedules, Absence, Attendance, Leave, Overtime, and Time Management .

✔️ Experience with Personnel Administration (PA) and Organizational Management (OM) .

✔️ Strong understanding of integration between PA, OM, PT, and PY .

✔️ Experience with SAP HCM integration with FI/CO, SuccessFactors EC, ECP, S/4HANA, banking/payment systems, and third-party HR/payroll systems .

✔️ Good understanding of SAP HCM interfaces, data mapping, integration testing, and error analysis .

✔️ Experience in functional testing, SIT, UAT, regression testing, payroll testing, and defect resolution .

✔️ Experience in SAP HCM implementation, rollout, cutover, go-live, and hypercare .

✔️ Strong production support experience including L2/L3 support, incident management, problem management, and change requests .

✔️ Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.

✔️ Experience preparing functional specifications, configuration documents, test scripts, and solution design documents .

✔️ Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills.

✔️ Experience coordinating with ABAP, Basis, Security, Integration, and other technical teams .

✔️ Experience with SAP HCM HRSP/HR Pack upgrades .

✔️ Strong experience in HR Pack 1–34 upgrade assessment, impact analysis, regression testing, and payroll parallel testing .

✔️ Experience analyzing SAP Notes, legal changes, custom objects, Z developments, enhancements, user exits, and BAdIs impacted by HRSP upgrades.

✔️ Experience supporting payroll regression and parallel testing during SAP HCM upgrades.
