Senior Quantity Surveyor

b Overview /b p As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will help manage commercial aspects of the HS2 Track contract within the BAM team. You’ll use data-driven analysis to maximise entitlement, control costs, and produce cost forecasts and monthly reports. You’ll work closely with project management, engineering teams, and the client, shaping commercial decisions and risk opportunities. This role offers impact on major rail infrastructure and a chance to contribute to a high-profile program in a collaborative environment. /p b Pay / Benefits /b ul li competitive salary /li li family-friendly policies /li li company car/car allowance/travel allowance /li li 8% matched pension contributions /li li private healthcare /li li life assurance 26 days holiday (plus wellbeing and volunteering days) /li /ul b Responsibilities /b ul li Administer NEC3 NEC4 contracts /li li Manage subcontract accounts /li li Support the Commercial Manager and the commercial team /li li Maintain records and support audits /li li Administer risk and opportunity management processes /li li Support contract reviews and monthly reporting /li li Collaborate with project management, engineering, and client teams /li li Produce documentation to demonstrate KPI achievement /li li Produce monthly cost forecasts and contract budget reports /li li Maintain accurate cost control /li li Support change control with timely information /li li Assist procurement through tenders and subcontract documentation /li li Manage subcontracts from order to final account /li li Maintain registers of variations, delays, EOTs and claims /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Experience at Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor level with core commercial skills /li li Ability to build collaborative relationships with Client, Project Managers and Designers /li li Team-oriented with a positive influence and willingness to support others /li li Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word /li /ul ul li collaborative mindset /li li positive influence on outcomes /li li willingness to help others /li li NEC3 and NEC4 forms of contract /li li subcontract management /li li risk and opportunity management /li /ul
