We are hiring for a growing US-based Interior Architecture & Design company looking for a senior accounting professional to strengthen its financial operations, reporting, compliance, and strategic planning.
This role is ideal for someone who can go beyond bookkeeping — bringing financial clarity, process discipline, and business insights while partnering directly with founders and leadership.
The Opportunity
We are looking for a CPA-level Senior Accountant with strong expertise in US Accounting, GAAP, IRS compliance, tax planning, and cash flow forecasting.
You will play a key role in improving financial visibility, ensuring accurate reporting, and building scalable accounting processes.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Review, clean up, and strengthen existing accounting records
✅ Ensure GAAP-compliant bookkeeping and financial reporting
✅ Manage month-end and year-end closing activities
✅ Prepare and maintain accurate P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports
✅ Support US tax preparation and tax planning initiatives
✅ Ensure compliance with IRS requirements and accounting standards
✅ Partner with external accountants, tax advisors, and regulatory stakeholders
✅ Improve accounting workflows, controls, and automation processes
✅ Provide financial analysis, forecasting, and business performance insights
✅ Drive cash flow planning and financial visibility for leadership
What We’re Looking For
CPA designation is mandatory
Illinois (IL) and/or Connecticut (CT) CPA registration highly preferred
5+ years of experience in US accounting roles
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting
Hands-on understanding of IRS regulations and compliance
Experience with Quick Books and/or Houzz Pro preferred
Strong written and verbal English communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaborate directly with founders & leadership teams
Experience with cash flow forecasting and financial planning
